Generative AI

A class of systems that produces text, images, code or other output from patterns learned from data and instructions supplied at use time.

Example

A business may use an assistant to draft alternative headings, then verify facts, tone, rights and suitability before publication.

Why it matters

Outputs can be useful starting points but may be inaccurate, biased, insecure or inappropriate. Human review and data boundaries remain necessary.
